Bobby Jay Blanton, 81, passed away on May 2, 2022, surrounded by family in Norman, Oklahoma. The son of William Franklin Blanton and Frankie Mary (Norton) Blanton, he was born on March 20, 1941, in Bokchito, Oklahoma.
Bob married Danna Ann Hightower on July 4, 1963, in Lindsay. He worked as a truck driver for Clements Foods for several years. When he was younger, he was involved in a softball league. Bob enjoyed golfing and bowling in his spare time. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy and Dora Faye; one brother, Billy; and nephew, Little Bob.
