Ronald D. "Abe: Abersold, 57, Brandenburg, died November 17, 1999 at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky.
He was born February 23, 1942 in Jefferson County, Kentucky, the son of Theodore White Aebersold and Florence Elizabeth Milby Aebersold.

He was an employee of Brandenburg Telephone Company and a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lee Aebersold, his father, Theodore Aebersold and a sister, Vanna Aebersold.

Mr. Aebersold is survived by his wife, Shirley Sawyers Aebersold; mother, Elizabeth Aebersold; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Ilene Aebersold; a daughter, Rhonda Aebersold; three grandchildren, Cole Aebersold, Megan Aebersold, and Shelbi Humphrey; a brother, Theodore "Buck" Aebersold, all of Brandenburg; two aunts, Gladys Watts and Edith Berryman; an uncle, Jim Milby and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held from Brandenburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell East officiating. Burial was in Eastlawn Cemetery, directed by Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were: Jerry Miles, Bill Fleming, Billy Ball, Jery Huffines, David Albright, Bruce Livers, Mike Barr and Larry Bruner.
Honorary pallbearers were: Jack Goodman, Alec Stone and A.W. Board.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Brandenburg United Methodist Church building fund.
