Rhonda Sue Aebersold, age 48, was tragically lost on Monday, June 5, 2023 at her home. Rhonda was born in Louisville KY on June 18th 1974 daughter of the late Ronald Dwight Aebersold and Shirley Sue Sawyers Aebersold.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lee Aebersold.
Rhonda was a graduate of Meade County High School and Spencerian College. She was a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church and a medical assistant at Kentuckiana Rheumatology. Rhonda was always a giving person who loved spending time with friends and family. She was a devoted MiMi and gave her time tirelessly with her 3 granddaughters cooking, doing crafts and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Shelbi Humphrey (CJ) Saylor and their children Addison Hadley and Brinlee Saylors of Brandenburg, KY; brother, Doug (Ilene) Aebersold of Brandenburg; nieces, Megan (Brad) Sonner and Molly Aebersold; nephews, Cole (Bliss) Aebersold and Kurt Aebersold; best friends, Katie Hardesty and Patricia Downs and aunts, uncles and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, June 12 form 2-8 P.M. EDT and Tuesday from 9 A.M until the time of the service at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church.
