Carbondale - Ora E. Striegel, 94, of 2701 W. Striegel Road died at 12:03 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 1989, in Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pettett Funeral Home, with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery, both in Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Striegel was a homemaker.
She was a member of the World War I Barracks Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Murphysboro.
She was born Nov. 13, 1894, in Wayne County to Mr. and Mrs. Will Spicer.
She married Dr. Alfred Striegel in 1919. He died in 1947.
Survivors include one son, . . . ; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
One brother and four sisters also preceded her in death.
