She married Robert Isom Hensley, a son of Elijah Samuel "Sam" Hensley and Mary Sue Livingston Hensley on Tuesday, January 7, 1919 in Morgan County, Alabama.
The children of Murty and Robert Hensley Kathleen McCaghren, Ozelle Harrison, Effie A. Hensley, James Winford "Buddy" Hensley, Robert Louis Hensley, Lavern Sanford, Waymon Hensley, Foree Porter and Delmar Ray Hensley.

Hartselle--Funeral for Murty B. Hensley, 83, of Route 2 Danville, will be Saturday at 2 pm at Enon Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Hamilton and the Rev. Estus Hardin officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 to 9.
Mrs. Hensley died Thursday at Hartselle Medical Center. She was a member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Otto Hensley, Waymon Hensley and Delmar Ray Hensley, all of Danville, and Clarence Hensley of Hartselle; six daughters, Ora Myers, Katheline McCathren and Laverne Sanford, all of Danville, Ruby Jenkins of Florida, and Ozelle Harrison and Foree Porter, both of Hartselle; one brother, Toley Wilborn of Hartselle; two sisters, Bertha Nethery of Kansas and Elma Chenault of Decatur; 29 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
