Hartselle--Funeral for Bertha Nethery, 86, of Sloss Street will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Peck Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nethery died Monday at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham.
She is survived by four sons, Demp Nethery, Junior Nethery and Hilrey Nethery, all of Hartselle, and William Nethery of Danville; four daughters, Ruth Golden of Decatur, Margaret Frazier of Hartselle, Opel Lee of Georgia, and Olene Smith of Danville; one brother, Toley Wilborn of Hartselle; one sister, Elma Chenault of Decatur; one stepson, Vernie Nethery of Dublin, Texas; one stepdaughter, Beatrice McClanahan of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
