Myra Vermillion Tice, 69, retired potter, formerly of Holliday Street, died at the skilled nursing facility at East Liverpool City Hospital Saturday, May 27, 1989 at 11:35 a.m. following a lengthy illness.
She was born in East Liverpool February 1, 1919, a daughter of the late Ira F. Seevers & Carrie Cheek Seevers. She lived in the vicinity her entire life.
She was formerly a stamper at the Hall China Co., retiring in 1956.
Mrs. Tice was a member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 66 Auxilary and the Glass, Molders, Plastic, Potter and Allied Workers Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Tice, who died May 22, 1987. Survivors are a son, Charles Allmon, of Sanford, N.C., a daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Jeannette) Nease of East Liverpool, one brother, Frank V. Seevers of Monaca, Pa., six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Martin Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Haire of the Oakland Free Methodist Church is to officiate. Burial is to follow at Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
