WANATAH DIES AT HOSPITAL
Miss Helen Rauen, age 27 years, of Wanatah, died Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock in Christian hospital of a throat infection believed to have been caused by diseased teeth.
She was born on April 27, 1912, at LaCrosse, Ind., and for a number of years lived in Wanatah.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Arvey Wiltfong; three brothers, Frank, Robert and Irvin, and one sister, June, all of Wanatah, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hornung, of Walkerton, Ind.
The body was taken to the Boehlke funeral home in Wanatah, and memorial services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, DST, at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Wanatah, Rev. Father Steger officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lake cemetery, LaPorte.
