Mrs. Henrietta (Rauen) Wilfong, 85, of route 1, LaCrosse died at 10:30 am Friday at the Walkerton Nursing home after an illness of one month. She was born to Frank and Margaret (Meyer) Hornung June 29, 1887 in Wanatah. She married Michael Rauen Sept. 6, 1905, who died in 1932. She was married to Arvey Wilfong in 1938. Mr. Wilfong died in 1942. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church and the Royal Neighbors of America. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Phegley of LaCrosse; three sons, Irvan Rauen of Wanatah, and Frank and Robert Rauen of North liberty; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wolfe from Florida, four frothers, Frank of Florida, Clatus of Burlington, Iowa, and Raymond and Theordore of Walkerton; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Services will be 10 am Monday at St. Martin Catholic church in LaCrosse. The Rev. William Peil officiating.
