DEATH VICTIM
Michael J. Rauen, age 58 years, died Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock at his home in Wanatah, after an illness of seven years. He was born on December 20, 1874, in Illinois, and had lived near Wanatah for the past eight years, moving there from LaCrosse. He was a farmer.
On September 6, 1905, he married Henrietta Hornung, of Wanatah. To this union were born six children, five of whom survive as follows: Frank, of North Judson; Robert and Irvin, of Wanatah; Helen and June, of Wanatah; two half brothers, George Cummings of Rolling Prairie, and William Cummings, of Michigan City, and one half sister, Mrs. Earl J. Lentz, of LaPorte.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 9 o'clock in the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Wanatah, with the Rev. Father Chemma officiating. Burial will be in Pine lake cemetery, LaPorte.
