At the hour of two o'clock a.m. on last Monday, the third anniversary of his father's death, Willard Henry passed from earthly life to the mysterious real beyond.
Willard Henry was born June 5, 1871, at Princeville, Ill., the son of Dr. R.F. and Nancy Henry. After completing his schooling here, he attended military academy at Highland Park, Chicago, and spent one year at Parson's College in Fairfield, Iowa. He was married to Miss Julia M. Benjamin, March 29, 1892, and to them two daughters and one son were born, all of whom survive their father. About seven months ago Mr. Henry entered into the mercantile business here, after having been for about two years in the employ of Cheesman Bros. He had been in business but a few months before his health failed and he rapidly declined to the end. The cause of his death was peritoneal tuberculosis.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Presbyterian church. The business houses closed during the funeral hour and the businessmen contributed a handsome design to floral decorations. The interment was at the Princeville Cemetery.
