Funeral services for Henry T. Bentancur, 59, of Richmond, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond, with Father Wencil Pavlosky officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Rosenberg. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home.

Mr. Bentancur was born on Dec. 8, 1935 in Rosenberg and passed away early Wednesday morning at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Valentina Bentancur of Richmond; sons, Manuel Bentancur of Rosenberg, and Henry Bentancur, Jr. of Richmond; daughters, Ninfa Bentancur, Delores Villalobos, both of Rosenberg, Triny Rivera and Celia Palacios, both of Richmond; six brothers, Porfirio Bentancur of Sweeny, Marcelo, Manuel, Fernando, Pete, and Johnny Bentancur, all of Richmond; five sisters, Dominga Cruz of Richmond, Baudelia Garcia of Needville, Juana Garza, Vita Cortez, Cathy Villalobos, all of Richmond; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Hernandez Funeral Home of Rosenberg after 11 a.m. Thursday morning.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez Funeral Home, 800 4th St., Rosenberg, Tx. 342-8803.
