Robert Lewis "BobBob" Harrell, 76, Vine Grove, formerly of Meade County, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion, Meade County Senior Citizens and was a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ada; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include a son, Shelby Frank Jantzen, Sheldon, Ill.; two daughters, Patsy Burrell, West Point, and Brenda Downard, Vine Grove; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lil Thompson, Bloomfield, Katie Barnes, Bardstown, and Agnes Wooden; four brothers, Clarence Harrell, Chester Harrell, Carl Harrell, all of Bardstown, and Lawrence Harrell, Fairdale.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with burial in Parr-Frans Cemetery with full military honors. The Rev. James Stiles and pastor Mark Judd will officiate.

Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, is in charge of arrangements.
