Rose Ada Cooper Harrell, 77, Ekron, died Jan 25, 2002 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, She was born Oct. 16, 1924, the daughter of Shelby and Gladys Izola Curl Cooper.
She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary and Meade Co. Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ernie Dean Prather, a sister Marie Basham, and a brother, Gene Smith.
Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband, Bobby Harrell; three children, Shelby Frank Jantzen, Sheldon, ILL. Patsy Burrell, West Point, and Brenda Downard, Vine Grove; three sisters, Carolyn Carter, Brandenburg, Beatrice Keith, Shepherdsville, and Ruthie Mae Singleton, Lodiburg; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan 28 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev James E. Stiles officiating. Burial was in Parr-Frans Cemetery (Meade Co Messenger)
