He had been missing since Tue. June 27th when he left his home in the Wolf Creek Community to go fishing in the Ohio River, which he did practically every day.
Mr. Cooper 68 years old, was born in Meade Co. March 13, 1904 a son of A.B. Cooper and Ruth Crist Cooper. He was a retired employee of Louisville Transit Co.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rose) Harrell, Battletown KY; Mrs Ray (Mildred) Vasquey, Prince George, VA.; one son, William Elbert Cooper, Nashville TN. one sister, Mrs. Guy (Marie) Harris, Louisville, KY; one brother Gilbert Cooper, Brandenburg, KY; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A daughter Betty Cooper and a brother Claude Cooper preceded him in death.
