Born Aug 30, 1886, in Hopkins, Mo., a ons of Theodore S. and Agatha Harrison Pierce, he married Florence Knilas, Feb 22, 1911, at Alta.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Walker L. Pierce Sr., Robert H. Pierce Jr., both of Peoria, one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Nolan of Morton; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Alldrege of Peoria; 10 grand-children; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, three sisters and seven brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Endsley & Son Funeral Home, 1125 Main, where friends may call from 5 to 7 tonight.
The Rev. L. Scott Huson will officiate and burial will be in Mount Hawley Cemetery.
