Mrs. Lillian Carr, 84, widow of Dan Carr, passed away in Seven Oaks Home after being in failing health for several months.
Born in Princeville Township July 31, 1882, she was the daughter of Agatha Harrison Pierce. She married Daniel Carr January 6, 1905. He preceded her in death November 22, 1960.
She was a faithful member of the Princeville Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Aid.
Surviving are three sons, Walter L. Carr of Washington and Howard E. and Cyril of Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Mavis Theobald of Galva; three brothers, Robert Pierce of Peoria, Freemont Pierce of Galva, and Homer Pierce of Alta; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Alldredge of Peoria; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four foster sons, whom the Carrs reared in their home, Harry Park of Moline, Carlos Park of St. Joseph, Mo., Robert Parkin the US Foreign service in Europe and John Knell of Wyoming.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held in the Princeville Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon with Rev. Robert Spencer in charge.
Burial was in the Princeville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Bouton, Gilbert Adams, Charles Richoz, James Delbridge, Edwad Kuntz, and Orville Smith.
