He worked at Kennecott Copper Corporation for 49 years. After retiring, he always kept busy with woodwork, hobbies and helping others. He married his eternal sweetheart, Lydia Marie Higley in September 1938. She is the light of his life. They became the parents of four children, Ida Judith, Kristee Kay, Max Glen (Janet), and Susan Marie (Johnson). He is a proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristee Kay Worthington; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday August 6, 2007, Holladay 29th Ward, 4032 S. 2300 E. A viewing will be held before the funeral service at 10 a.m. A viewing will be held, as well, Sunday, Aug. 5 from 3-4 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
