The Angel of Death set the Blocks "clear" for Stephen Archer, 43, well known engineer, who died at his home early Saturday morning following a short illness from pneumonia. Mr. Archer had served about 20 years on the O. R. division of the B. & O. and was loved by all knights of the rail who knew him and by a host of other friends.
Mr. Archer was born at Rockport, this county. he leaves to mourn the loss the widow, Mrs. Clara A. Archer, and six children, Walter, Norman, Raymond, Luella, Frank, and Allen. His mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Archer and the following brothers and sisters also survive; Mrs. Martha Bigaman, Mrs. Janie Bailey, Mrs. Della Jones, Miles and Charles Archer, all of this city.
