Rusha Mae (Blevins) Reeves passed from this life on March 29, 2019 in Weatherford at age 87. She was born on December 13, 1931 at Lugert, Oklahoma to Lester Blevins and O’Leva (Sunderland) Blevins. Rusha grew up and attended school at Lone Wolf and was a proud Lone Wolf graduate. She attended Nursing School becoming an LPN and later attended Beauty School in Lawton.

After many years in the Healthcare industry, Rusha retired as Director of Nurses from the Good Samaritan in Hobart.

On October 11, 1952 Rusha married the love of her life Bob Reeves and to this union were born two children, Steve and Diann.

She was a long time member of the First Christian Church in Lone Wolf, was involved in many projects and helped many people. She loved to bake, play bingo, go to the Casino and enjoyed traveling.

Russia is survived by her son Steve Reeves of Bethany, OK; daughter Diann Storm and husband Chuck of Edmond, OK; brothers Donnel Blevins and wife Eloise of Granite, Ronnel Blevins and wife Sheila of Lone Wolf, Pat Blevins and wife Gloria of Enid, sisters Norma Ward of Wichita, Kansas and Geneva Armstrong of Lone Wolf. Rusha leaves a legacy of five grandchildren; Amy Sullivan and husband Nathan of Enid, OK, Tammy Hahn and husband Andrew of Weatherford, OK, Molli King and husband Kyle of Weatherford, OK, Stephanie Storm of Edmond, OK and Jacob Reeves and wife Heather of Mustang, OK and ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Rusha was preceded in death by her parents Lester and O’Leva, her husband Bob, brothers Harold, Bud, Samuel, Ed and her sisters Dorothy, Hazel and Marion.

Services: Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at the Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Devour officiating. Interment is at Lone Wolf Cemetery.
