Ardney "Bud" Blevins, a resident of Porterville, died there Sept. 30, 2004. He was 86.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Myers Chapel in Porterville.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Myers Chapel with Rev. Mike McGuffee officiating.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville.
Mr. Blevins was a native of Lone Wolf, Okla., and a resident of Porterville for 49 years. He worked as an auto mechanic for 20 years. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and the Porterville Gleaning Seniors.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Blevins of Porterville; a daughter, Rozetta Rogers of Porterville; a son, A.C. "Sonny" Blevins of Clovis; five sisters Dorothy Pollard of Lone Wolf, Okla., Hazel Henthorn of Mangum, Okla., Rusha Mae Reeves of Lone Wolf, Okla., Norma Jean Ward of Oklahoma, and Geneva Armstrong of Lone Wolf, Okla.; five brothers, Edwin Blevins of Oklahoma, Sam Blevins of New Braunsfels, Texas, Donald Blevins of Duncan, Okla., Ronald Blevins of Loan Wolf, Okla., and Pat Blevins of Enid, Okla.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Harold Blevins, and sister, Marion Miles.
