James Raymond Taylor, age 90, of Fayetteville, TN passed away on January 7, 2019 at Donaldson Care Center. He was born in Lincoln County, TN on March 16, 1928, son of the late Roy Tillman and Bessie Lee Benson Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a former employee of Elk Cotton Mill and was a member of West End Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife: Faye Taylor of Fayetteville, TN; daughters: Nancy (Steve) Haas of Winchester, TN and Annette (Jim) Scott of Taft, TN; son: Roy (Samantha) Taylor of Kelso, TN; sister: Avis Mitchell; brother: Thomas Taylor; grandchildren: Stacy Lloyd, Jeremy Taylor, Kendra Taylor, Chad Morris, Phillip Morris, Jay Scott, Jesse Scott and Ross Hoffman; fourteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
