SULLIVAN, Mrs. Ruth I., 72, a resident of Hatcher Drive, Fayetteville, and a retired employee of Blue Ridge Manufacturing Company, died Saturday (March 5, 1994) at Lincoln Skill Care. A native of Walnut Grove, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Bessie Benson Taylor and a member of the Swan Creek Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband, Berkeley Sullivan of Fayetteville; two stepdaughters, Glenda Fitch of Fayetteville and Sandra Poole of Springfield, Virginia; one stepson, Rex Sullivan of Fayetteville; two sisters, Virginia Simms and Avis Mitchell, both of Fayetteville; two half-sisters, Rosa Lee Steele of Winchester and Serena Norman of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, Thomas Taylor and James Taylor, both of Fayetteville; and eight grandchildren; Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Fayetteville Chapel of the McCauley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Shouse officiating. Interment followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens. McCauley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
