Colyn Dunn Kilgore, 80, of Memphis, TN, died Monday at his home.


The memorial service was Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Gregory officiating. Burial was in Walker Cemetery.


Mr. Kilgore was a former resident of Huntsville and an Army veteran of World War II.


Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Joyce Kilgore Schneider of Memphis and Mona Louise Kilgore Wooten of Mobile; three sisters, Audrey Pendergrass of Owens Cross Roads, Rose Nell Leak of New Hope and Lois Ball of Athens; three brothers, Jim Kilgore of New Hope and William Walker (Jack) Kilgore and Donald Ray (Peewee) Kilgore, both of Chicago; and one grandchild.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Izzie Kilgore and Rosa Lee Dunn Kilgore; three brothers, James Daniel (J.D.) Kilgore, Marion Izzie Kilgore Jr., and Joe Randolph Kilgore; and three sisters, Emily May Kilgore Green, Edna Violet Kilgore Dilworth, Ruby Constance Kilgore.

Colyn Dunn Kilgore, 80, of Memphis, TN, died Monday at his home.
