Winton K. Weathers
The funeral for Winton K. "Stormy" Weathers, 67, 1522 Hickory, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Ryan Mortuary, the Rev. Herman Frerichs officiating. Burial will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Weathers died Friday, May 6, at Asbury-Salina Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Great Bend. He had been a sheet metal tinner with the maintenance shop for Salina School District until retiring in 1984.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the American Association of Retired persons and the Kansas Public Employees Retirement Association. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served with the Army Signal Corp in North Africa.

Survivors include his wife, Winifred Watson of the home; a son, Gary J. of 919 Jewell; three daughters, Laura Weathers of the home, Mary Schlarbaum of 1300 Derby and Jean Weathers of Manhattan; a brother, Jack of Mediapolis, Iowa; a sister, Margaret Weesner of Mission, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Salina.
Visitation is at the funeral home.
