Edith L. Weathers, 89 died November 28, 1984 at Central Kansas Medical Center, after a long illness. Born Edith L. Herbold, August 15, 1895 at Raymond, she had been a resident of Great Bend since 1905. She married Paul Weathers, July 19. 1914 at Great Bend. He died May 23, 1973. She was a retired secretary for Western Power and was a retired Schuefler Supply employee.
Mrs. Weathers was a member of the Harmony Club in Great Bend
Surivors include two sons, Jack of Burlington, Iowa, and Winton of Salina, one daughter Margaret Weesner of Mission Texas, one sister Beulah Eicher of Wichita, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Fryberger Mortuary with the Rev. Jon Jones officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Frends may call until service time Friday at the mortuary.
