Ruth E. Koch, 88, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in Camp Hill.

Born in Harrisburg, March 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Quentin A. and Mary Elizabeth "Alverta" Doner Gleim. She was married to her late husband, James R. Koch on December 19, 1945, who went to his eternal death on December 26, 2006.

In addition to her parents, and husband James, Ruth was preceded in death by six brothers, Norman Gleim, Paul Gleim, Harold Gleim, Sr., Donald Gleim, William Gleim, and Richard "Joe" Gleim; and two sisters, Eleanor Allamon and Esther Cousins.

She is survived by two sons, Michael of Harrisburg, and Robert of Florida; three brothers, the Rev. Elmer Gleim, husband of Ruth, York, James Gleim, husband of Eldora, Shippensburg, and Guy Merle Gleim, Harrisburg; and one sister Helen Wilson, wife of Ronald, Carlisle.

Services are at the convenience of the family.
