Mike O'Neal Plumley, age 87, of Prince, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Beckley VA Medical Center.

Born on May 10, 1931 at Glade, WV, he was the son of the late Merida Plumley and Percy Ward Plumley.

Mr. Plumley was a retired employee of CSX Railway as a track laborer. He was a US Army Veteran and Marine Corp Veteran during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Plumley was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Plumley his sisters, Audra Daniels and Helen Bennett, and brothers, Richard Plumley and Eugene Plumley. He was also preceded in death by an infant child, Ronnie Plumley.

Those survivors left to cherish is memory include his children, Ethel Plumley and Michael Plumley, both of Prince, WV. Mr. Plumley was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 3 PM with Rev. Earl Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Plumley Cemetery at Abraham, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
