Quinnimont Man Perishes in Fire
A Quinnimont man, James Eugene Plumley, 52, burned to death in a fire which destroyed
his five-room home Saturday night.
According to state police reports, the blaze began between 9:30 and 10 p.m. in the front part of the house.
Plumley, who was single, lived alone and is survived by a brother, Mike of Quinnimont and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Bartlet of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Everett Bennett of Jonesboro , Ind.
He was born Nov. 7, 1919, the son of the late Merida and Percy Ward and lived in Fayette County all of his life.
The body is at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Home in Hinton. Funeral arrangements
are pending completion.
