Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence B. and Pearl Leona Gilstrap Blackstone.
Betty Jo is survived by two sisters, Margaret “Bea” Davis and Macie Armonaitis; a brother, Melvin Blackstone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
