Funeral services for Fred Plaggemeyer, 82, were at 4 p.m. at the Lowry Funeral Home. The Rev. Arnold E. Erickson, pastor of the Church of God, officiated and burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Plaggemeyer died Oct. 2 at Sweet Grass Community Hospital.
He was born April 24, 1891, at Hull, N. D., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bern Plaggemeyer. He came with his parents to a ranch north of Big Timber in 1896. He attended Wormser School and served with the U. S. Army during World War I with the 60th Balloon Company.
He was married to Martha Burns in 1920 in Big Timber. She preceded him in death in April 1968. He had rancher north of Big Timber all his life.
Survivors include two brothers, John and Abe Plaggemeyer, both of Big Timber; four sisters, Mrs. Charles McComb, Mrs. Bob Johnson, and Miss Ellen Plaggemeyer, all of Big Timber, and Mrs. Howard Evenson, Great Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Dan Plaggemeyer, Louie Plaggemeyer Walt Plaggemeyer, Jack Plaggemeyer, Richard Plaggemeyer, and Cliff Elliott. Organist was Mrs. William Cremer Jr.
