Garfield Merrill Funeral Services Planned Monday

Funeral services for Garfield Merrill, 63, former resident of Chilton who passed away Wednesday at New Holstein of a heart attack, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home at Chilton. Burial will be made in the Portland cemetery at Brant, Wis.

Friends may call at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home at Chilton from Saturday evening until the time of the services.

Garfield Simpson Merrill was born March 16, 1882, in the Town of Chilton, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Almond
R. Merrill. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Hoekstra and Mrs. Lydia Oakley, both of Sheboygan, and one brother, Ellis
A. Merrill, of Stevens Point.

His wife preceded him in death. Mr. Merrill was employed at the Lauson
Manufacturing company at New Holstein.
