Landed in Quebec, Canada following a trip on the S.S. Peruvian, a Canadian Passenger Line.
Simpson Todd 56, Ellen, his 2nd wife 50, William H. 25, a farmer, Jane 18, a spinster, Simpson, a child. The trip was about 30 days.
William and Jane were from the first marriage and Simpson age 11 was from the second marriage.

Mrs A. Merrill Dies After A Long Illness
Mrs. Almond Merrill, aged 73
years, passed away Monday afternoon
at 5:30 o'clwak at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. George Hoekstra,
1126 North Eleventh street, after
a lingering, illness.
Mrs. Merrill was born in Rochdale,
England, July 23, 1848, and came to
this country with her parents, Rev.
and Mrs. Simpson Todd, in 1867
when she was nineteen years of age.
The family came to Sheboygan to
live and Rev. Todd was pastor of
the Baptist church in Sheboygan
Falls and also supplied the Baptist
church here.
On April 28, 1871, the deceased
was married to Almond Merrill in
Chilton and the family resided there
until a year ago when Mr. and Mrs.
Merrill and their daughter, Miss
Lydia, came to this city to take up
their residence with their daughter
and sister, Mrs. Hoekstra, Mrs. Merrill
was a member of the Baptist
church.
The survivors are the husband,
four sons, Harry and Garfield Merrill,
at Chilton; Ellis Merrill at Stevens
Point, and Glenn, this city, and
two daughters, Mrs. Hoekstra and
Miss Lydia Merrill, One brother,
Simpson Todd, Stevens Point; eighteen
grand children and one great
grand child, also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
from the late residence. Rev. W. B.
Wells, of the First Baptist church
will officiate and interment will be
made in Wildwood cemetery. The
four sons and two grandsons,
Francis Hoekstra and Fred Goedeke,
will be the pallbearers, and R H
Kroos will direct the funeral.
