Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon here for Mrs. Jessie Behnke, 66, who passed away Tuesday evening at Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Behnke was for a number of years a resident of Gravesville.

Mrs. Behnke was born in Stockbridge, the daughter of Max and Electa Kiesner on Nov. 7, 1884. She attended schools in Stockbridge and Calumetville and was married to William Behnke in 1923.

For many years she followed the trade of dressmaking. Recently she moved to Manitowoc were she had been living with a niece, Mrs. Donald Forbes, until the time of her illness.

Survivors include three brothers, William Kiesner of Potter, Fred Kiesner of Chilton and Edward Kiesner of Racine; two sisters, Gertrude of Baltimore, Md., and Ruby of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home. Rev. Wesley Schultema will officiate and burial will be in Hillside cemetery.
