Mrs. Elsie Agnes Rupert, 87, died at her home in Porkey, Forest County, at 9:40 a.m. Jan 8 1963. The widow of O.E. Rupert, she had been ill for the last four years and in serious condition for three weeks.
Mrs. Rupert was born in Sheffield on Oct. 6, 1875, and had resided in Porkey for 53 years.
Surviving are five daughters and three sons, Marion, of Lynch, Pa; Mrs. Gust(Vernita) Swanson, Sheffield,; Lyle, Donald and Doris, at home; Mrs. Norris (Lois) Brenan, Rock City; Mrs. Floyd (Nellie) Hoover and Mrs. John (Alta) Littlefield of Porkey; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Workman and Mrs. Earl Carr, Sheffield; 12 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren.
The Rev. Jack Parsons, Methodist minister, will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday and burial will follow in Sheffield Cemetery.
