Mrs. Caroline V. Lynde ... passed away December 13 [1933] after 2 months illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. R. Mead. Rev. J. Brent Cook of the ME church officiated assisted by Rev. HF EArseman, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Knox of which Mrs. Lynde had been a member for many years. Rev. Earseman, an intimate friend of the deceased, paid a beautiful tribute to her nature which prompted her to give of her worldly goods whenever the need arose. She made friends by being friendly and her genial personality will be sadly missed. She was united in marriage to Oscar F Lynde on December 2[4], 1907, who preceded her in death many years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mildred, her aged mother and six sisters, Mrs. Mary Phillips, Mrs. Alice Green, Mrs. Della Carr of Sheffield; Mrs. Olive Broman, Jamestown NY, Mrs. Elsie Rupert, Truemans, Mrs. Lottie Burdick, Bradford, and three brothers, Harvey and Clarence of Sheffield and George of Valley Ford, Washington.
