Joyce Gingell Hatch, 77, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017.

Joyce was born in Myton, Utah to Earl and Eva Gingell on May 7, 1940. She grew up in Myton until graduating from Roosevelt High School. After graduating, she moved to Ogden to attend Weber State where she met the love of her life Vernon Hatch. Joyce and Vernon resided in Brigham City for 20 years where they raised their family. They moved to Port Saint John, Florida where Vern worked at the Kennedy Space Center. She has resided in Port Saint John for 29 years.

Joyce found her passion for golf, spending 3-4 days a week on the course. She loved being with friends and spending time with them. If she wasn’t golfing, she was reading.

Joyce is survived by sons Ross Hatch, Gary (Kristan) Hatch, and her daughter Veronica (Richard) Fuhriman, and brother Lyle (Phyllis) Gingell; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on July 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the LDS chapel in Randolph, Utah. Public viewing will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 and a family viewing 10:30 am until 11:00 at the chapel preceding the service.

Interment will follow the services at the Randolph City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
