JoAnn was an enthusiastic Jazz fan. No one dared to interrupt her when there was a Jazz game on TV. John Stockton was her favorite player. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. She was a good gardener and loved to sew. She made doll clothes for charity. One of her many skills, was to provide creative meals with her unique food resources.
She is survived by her children; Sheila (Lee) Keller-Powell, Paula (John) Nero, Robert (Karla) Keller, Terri (Dennis) O'Reilly and Sheri (Richard) Weinman. Seven grandchildren. Two brothers: Lyle and Russell Gingell and one sister Joyce Hatch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 in the Larkin Sunset Garden's Cemetery (1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, UT) at 3:00 PM. We share our appreciation to the VA Nursing Home Staff and her private care givers, especially Brooke Bos.
