Mrs. Reinhart Bessert, 63, of Rockland, died Tuesday at the farm home near Reedsville, following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Reedsville Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the St. John-James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Elwood Habermann will officiate and burial will be in the west side church cemetery in Reedsville.
She was born Anna Behnke in Rockland in 1890 and in 1907 was married to Henry Bubolz. He died in 1922. The following year she was married to Mr. Bessert.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Maertz of Maple Grove and Mrs. Herbert Nicholaus of Lake Forest, Ill.; three sons, Raymond, Harvey and Henry Bubolz of Rockland; two brothers, Rudolph and Adolph Behnke of Rockland; 13 grand-children and a great grandchild.
