Mrs. Frank Piepenburg, 76, a resident of the town of Rantoul, Calumet county, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at her farm home five miles south of Brillion.

Nee Wilhelmina Behnke, the deceased was born Jan 4, 1872, in the town of Rockland, Manitowoc county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Behnke. She was married to Frank Piepenburg on March 15, 1894.

The couple had made their home in Rantoul township for the past 54 years. Mrs. Piepenburg was a member of the Evangelical United Bretheren church at Rantoul.

Survivors are four sons, Leonard and Otto of Brillion, Gustave of Rantoul and Reinhold of Madison: one daughter, Mrs Elvin Kleist, Rockland: 17 grandchildren: three brothers, Fred, Sr., of Brillion, and Adolph and Rudolph of Rockland, and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Horace and Mrs. Reinhardt Bessert, both of Rockland.

Her husband and one daughter, Bertha, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Sunday at the Luecker Funeral home in Brillion and at 2 p. m. at the Evangelical United Bretheren church at Rantoul. The Rev. Kenneth Knoespel, pastor, will officiate, and internment will be made in the church cemetery.
