Harvey Bubolz, age 85, of 209 S. 5th St., Reedsville, passed away Friday, April 12, 1996, at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton, following a lingering illness.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, 1996, at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Rev. David Kipfmiller will officiate with burial in the West Side Cemetery, Reedsville.

He was born December 1, 1910, in the town of Rockland, son of the late Henry and Anna (Behnke) Bubolz. On October 14, 1939, he married Lillian Reinke in Reedsville. Mr. Bubolz farmed in the town of Rockland until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. He also served on the Church Council, School Board and was a member of the Reedsville Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Don Klitz, Markesan; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carol Bubolz, residing on the family farm, Reedsville; seven grandchildren, James Bubolz and his wife, Gloria, Reedsville, Angela Kenneke and her husband, Tim, Collins, Jonathan Bubolz and Amy Bubolz, Reedsville, Ann Klitz, William Klitz, Donald Lucas Klitz all of Markesan; two great grandchildren, Justin and Courtney Kenneke; one sister, Mr. Herbert Nicholas, Lake Forest, Ill.; one sister-in-law, Malinda Bubolz, Reedsville; one brother-in-law, Arnold Maertz, Reedsville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Reinhard Bessert; one sister Hildegard; two brothers, Raymond and Henry; one brother-in-law, Dr. Herbert Nicholas; one sister-in-law, Helen Bubolz.

Friends may call on Sunday at the Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, from 5-9 p.m. and at the church on Monday from noon until the time of services.
