Corman - Brown
Mr. and Mr. Allan Brown of Houserville, announce the marriage of their daughter, Florence Carroll. to Lynn Corman. son of H. E. Corman of Valley View. The wedding took place at the United Brethren parsonage at Houserville, June 26, at 4 p.m. The impressive ring ceremony was used with Rev. Homer Gauntt, pastor of the church, officiating.
Attendants at the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Corman, of Valley View. The bride was attired in white crepe dress with accessories to match and wore a picture hat of white. The bride's maid was attired in blue, both wearing corsages of tea roses.
Immediately after the ceremony, a wedding supper was served at the groom's home. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown, H. E. Corman, Hazel and Hilda Corman and Mrs. Bertha Corman. After the supper the bride and groom left on a tour through the eastern states, visiting friends in Newark and New York City. They expect to go to housekeeping their newly-furnished apartment at Valley View September 1.
The bride is a graduate of the Lock Haven High school aid the Lock Haven Teachers College in the class or 1931 and has been employed as a teacher in the school of Benner Township for the past five years. The groom was graduated from the Bellefonte high school in the class of 1928 and at present is employed at the Chemical Lime company.

Lynn E. Corman
Lynn E Corman, 86, of Valley View Road, Bellefonte, died Thursday, April 28, 1994, at Centre Community Hospital.
He was born February 7, 1908, in Valley View, a son of the late Herce and Rozena Eckley Corman. In 1936, he married Florence Betty Brown, who died February 6, 1988.
He graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1927 and spent most of his life working at National Gypsum Company and its predecessor companies in Bellefonte until his retirement in 1971.
Mr. Corman was an active member of the Valley View United Methodist Church, Benner Township, serving in various capacities for many years. He was also a member of the Gideons and was secretary of the Bellefonte Area School Authority for the entire time it was in existence.
He is survived by one son, Lynn E. Corman Jr. of Valley View; and one sister, Hilda E. Corman of Valley View.
The funeral was at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, with the Reverends Dr. Richard F. Heinrich and Alfred K. Gotwalt officiating.
Burial was at Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Home, Bellefonte.
