Funeral services for Florence "Betty" Corman, 77, of Bellefonte RD 1 was at the Wetzler Funeral Home, Bellefonte, with the Reverends Richard Heinrich and Alfred K. Gotwalt officiating. Entombment was at Centre County Memorial Park College Township.
Mrs. Corman died of natural causes at Munroe Regional Medical Center Ocala, Florida, Saturday, February 6, 1988 at 11:15pm. In 1931 she graduated from Lock Haven State Teacher's College, now Lock Haven University. For over 37 years Mrs. Corman taught in various Benner Township Elementary Schools retiring in 1971. She was an active member of Valley View United Methodist Church, Benner Township.
She served in various capacities in different church organizations including Bellefonte district president of the Christian Endeavor Society in the late 1930s.
She was born March 8, 1910 in Altoona, a daughter of Allen H. and May E. Bossert Brown. In 1936 she married Lynn E. Corman who survived. Also surviving were a son, Lynn Jr. of Bellefonte RD 1; four sisters: Mary B. Keyser of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; Louise B. Richey of Castanea; Jane R. Smith and Anna F. Cruse, both of Mill Hall and a brother, John B. Brown of Emporium.

The ceremony was performed at the United Brethren parsonage at Houserville June 26, by the Reverend Homer Gauntt, pastor.
The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Corman, of Valley View. Immediately following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bridegroom, after which the bride and bridegroom left for a wedding trip through eastern states. They expect to go to housekeeping in their newly furnished apartment at Valley View September 1.
