Elizabeth M. Leitzel
Elizabeth M. Leitzel, 72, of 1339 Middle St., Ashland, died Saturday at Ashland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Ashland, December 30, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Rhoeda (Haeffner) Heffner. She attended Ashland High School.
She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Ashland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Williard, November 15, 1988, and a son Ronald.
Surviving are four daughters, Mary Ann Persing, of Shamokin, Dorothy Hutchinson, of Allentown, Brenda Johnson, of Trenton, Mo., and Cindi Rock, of Aristes; five sons, William, Ricky, David, and Kevin, all at home, and Terry, of Ashland; a sister, Grace Koons, of Chico, Calif; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jack W. Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in the Magdeline Crematory, Ringtown.
