WINNIE ANNA HAGAN was born FEB 1873, died AFTER 1920 and BEFORE 1930) according to an analysis of the 1920 and 1930 US Censuses. On the 27th of March 1890 she was married William Peter Bowen (1869-1918) by William M. Williams and the marriage certificate was recorded by A. R. Lanier, Ordinary for Bulloch County, Georgia. She and her husband had at least eight (8) known children. These eight (8) children are listed below, in birth order:

First, a daughter. Winnie America Bowen, b. DEC 1889, d. After 1916 and Before 1920 Us Census). She married Lovin Smith on 26 SEP 1909. There is no trace of her after the birth of their last-born child on 20 NOV 2016. Winnie America's husband had married a 2nd time to Maggie Lieu Chester when the US Federal Census was taken in the year 1920. Winnie America Bowen Smith and Lovin Smith had at least four (4) known children, listed below in birth order:

1). Winnie Lee Smith, b. 28 AUG 1910, d. 19 JUN 1993. She married Andrew Marvin Lowe, b. 23 FEB 1907, d. 28 DEC 1960. She lived all her life in Bulloch County, Georgia and is interred with her husband in Eastside Cemetery, Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia. She last lived at Brooklet, Georgia, Bulloch County, Georgia. 3). Mollie Esther Smith. b. 13 NOV 1914, d. 27 JAN 1995. Married Steve "Stevy" Watson Gladin, b. 10 MAR 1913, d. 15 JUN 1983. Both are interred in Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bloomingdale, Chatham County, Georgia. FAG# 146273873.

4). James Woodroe Smith, b. 20 NOV 1916, d. 01 JAN 1995. Married Myrtice Whitaker, b. 16 JUL 1917, d. 18 JUN 2015. Both are interred in Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bulloch County, Georgia, FAG# 113645873.

Married Lurine Williams (b. 05 NOV 1912 - in Candler County, Georgia, d. 23 JAN 1977- in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia), daughter of Ben Franklin Williams and Cora C. Williams. Both are interred in LOWER LOTTS CREEK CHURCH CEMETERY, Bulloch County, Georgia. Before the death of Ulysses Grant Bowen, he and his wife, Lurine Williams, had at least four (4) children, as follows, in birth order:

Charles Gordon Bowen, b. 13 JAN 1914, d. 13 MAR 1969 (age 55 years, 2 months), interred in BONAVENTURE CEMETERY, SAVANNAH, CHATHAM COUNTY, GEORGIA (LOT #92) He married Pearl Geneva Counce (1925 - 2005), daughter of Clarence H. Counce & Ola Carrie Zeigler. They divorced and she is interred in SIMMONS BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY, Citra, Marion County, Florida under the name PEARL G. WIMBERLY. His wife was called "Grace" by all her contemporaries.
