OBITUARY from Altoona Mirror October 19, 1981 - MARION C. WILSON - Mr. Wilson, 69, of 121 3rd Ave., died unexpectedly at 11:15 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, 1981 in his home. Known as Whiz, Mr. Wilson was born June 25, 1912, in Bellwood, the son of David and Mary (Clouse) Wilson, and in Altoona, married Edna Parks. Surviving are his wife, seven children, Allen, at home; Mrs. Betty Church, Mrs. Mary Jane Hoover, Mrs. Marcell Ketrow, Pete and Ronnie of Altoona, Melvin in Connecticut; 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Also surviving are six brothers and sisters, Kessler, Richard and William of Altoona, Mrs. Cora Boyles of Bellwood and Mrs. Laura Shawley and Mrs. Elizabeth Ingram of Juniata. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. WILSON - Services for Marion C. Wilson of 121 3rd Ave. will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. Interment in Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home.
