RICHARD B. WILSON
Mr. Wilson, 71, of 1427 Princeton Road, Greenwood, died at 11:50 am Saturday, March 31, 1990, at Van Zandt VA Medical Center. Mr. Wilson retired as a musician, having played guitar with bands in the area for many years. He was born April 30, 1918, in Bellwood, the son of David H. and Mary C. (Klas) Wilson, and Jan. 18, 1943, in Cumberland, Md., married Vernida M. Greenawalt, who died Jan. 16, 1987. Surviving are six children: Mona Sue Potter of Greenwood, Lucinda J. Holiday of Bellwood, Deborah Kay Port of Altoona, Terry Lynn and Richard E., with whom he resided; and James L. of Pinecroft, and six grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters and a brother: Kessler of Altoona, Laura Shawley and Elizabeth Ingram of Juniata and Cora Boyles of Bellwood. Mr. Wilson was an Army veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 am. Tuesday at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. WILSON — Services for Richard B. Wilsoon of 1427 Princeton Road, Greenwood, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. J. Paul Taylor. Interment at Asbury Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 18 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
