Betty Lou Weston Pugmire passed away May 1, 2016 at the Bear Lake Memorial Skilled Nursing Facility in Montpelier, Idaho. she was surrounded by family.
Betty was 92 years old. Betty was born on Dec. 2, 1923 at home to Benjamin and Loretta Pearl Early Weston in Laketown, Utah.
She was the eight child of 12 children, five boys and six girls living to adulthood.
Betty married Mark Gardner Pugmire on Feb. 6, 1942 in Seattle Wash. Mark was stationed in Alaska with the Army Air corp. This marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Sept. 23, 1943.
To this union were born three children, Michael (Jean) Pugmire, Paris, ID. Judy Koori, Tustin, CA and Vicky (Bill) Gay, Montpelier, ID. She also had a stepson, Wal Wm. Michelson. Mark and Betty moved to Paris in 1952 and ran Mark's and Mike's Chevron Service Station for 45 years.
After Mark passed away in 1977, Betty met and married Paul N Michelson in 1980.
Betty is survived by her three children and step-son. Also she has nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, and her last surviving sibling, Hazel Richardson.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings and her husbands.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 5, 2016 at the Paris Stake Center at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be held from 10:30 to 12:45 in the Relief Society Room. Burial will be in the St. Charles City Cemetery.
