June 24, 1944 – March 25, 2016

Judi Brown, (72), Sharpsville, Indiana, formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida, died at 5:11am on March 25, 2016, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. Born June 24, 1944, in Windfall, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles Blackburn and the late Hazel (Acup).

She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Robert Brown. They were married on March 2, 1972 in Logansport, Indiana.

She was a retired hairdresser and was self-employed for many years. She owned Krajewski’s Salon of Beauty on Markland St. in Kokomo, Indiana, and Judi’s Beauty Salon on Hwy #31, Kokomo Indiana. She was a Cosmetology Instructor for Lorraine’s Hairstyling Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida for many years, and later an Administrator Assistant for the Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. When she retired she became a Webmaster with many websites. She was also an amateur radio operator, N4KQI. She enjoyed computer work more than anything else, reading, cooking and spending time with her children.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Brown, three sons, Cooper Krajewski, Ft. Myers, Florida; Christopher Brown of Sharpsville, Indiana, and Nicolas Brown of St. Petersburg, Florida and her brother, Terry Blackburn of St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was preceded in death by parents Charles “CD” and Hazel Blackburn, three of her brothers, Dale, Bob and Jerry Blackburn as well as her three sisters, Mary Sue Blackburn, Debe High and Maxine Utsler.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida. No funeral services
