Marjorie Maxine Utsler, 72, Sharpsville, passed away at 2:03 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born January 15, 1940 in Indiana to the late Charles D. and Hazel Blackburn.

Maxine graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1958. She retired from Delco Electronics. She was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Church of God, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crafts, painting and was involved in the Tipton Historical Society.

Surviving is a son and a daughter-in-law; Bill and Patti Utsler, Naples, Florida, two daughters and a son-in-law; Kathy Isenberg, Indianapolis, Cheryl and John Losch, Kokomo, four grandchildren; Brandon Brunk, Kelsey Isenberg, Braxton Utsler and Kami Devine, one great-grandchild; Braydon Brunk. Also surviving is a brother and a sister-in-law; Terry and Lisa Blackburn, St. Petersburg, Florida, two sisters and a brother-in-law; Judi and Bob Brown, Sharpsville, Debi High, Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 10, 2012 at Bethel Tabernacle Church of God, 661 West 400 South, Kokomo, with Pastor David Cornelius officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM Wednesday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethel Tabernacle Church of God, envelopes will be provided at the mortuary on Wednesday and at the church on Thursday.
